Football: Leg-break horror for ex-Saint Keith.

FORMER St Johnstone star Keith O'Halloran's bid to build a career in England has hit a nightmare setback after he suffered a double leg break.

The midfielder was told yesterday he will not play again this year.

O'Halloran left McDiarmid Park last season to pursue a career in England at Swindon Town.

However, his world has come crashing down after sustaining the horror injury.

The former Perth ace suffered broken fibula and tibia after a clash with Bournemouth ace Wade Elliott.

Swindon boss Roy Evans said: "I have told the lad to keep his chin up because it could have happened to anybody."

O'Halloran will be on the sidelines for at least four months.
