FOOTBALL: Magnus says sorry.

MAGNUS HEDMAN has admitted he made a major error in Coventry's 1-0 loss at home against Grimsby - but insisted not all of the venomous home crowd had turned against him.

Hedman was caught in possession to gift Phil Jevons the only goal of the game - and was booed by the Coventry fans.

"There was a misunderstanding. I was forced to dribble outside the penalty area, got it wrong and they scored," Hedman said. "I feel awful.

"I recognised the hatred in the atmosphere, but there were fans who supported me. I saved a one-on-one in the first-half. Unfortunately my mistake was costly, since it decided the match."
