EVIL BRADY'S BOOK BANNED IN BRITAIN.
Byline: GARY JONESA BOOK on serial killers written by Moors murderer Ian Brady has been banned in Britain.
The hospital where Brady is locked up won a temporary court order.
A spokesman at Ashworth Hospital in Liverpool said: "We want to read the book to check that it does not breach patient confidentiality."
Brady has been paid an advance of pounds 3,420 for The Gates of Janus: Serial Killing and Analysis and could make pounds 12,000 more.
He has claimed the money will go to his mother, now in her 90s. Brady interviewed Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe for the book.
But he makes no mention of his own murders - at least five - or of accomplice Myra Hindley.
US publisher Adam Parfrey said: "The book does not discuss Ashworth or its patients."
The Victims of Crime Trust said: "Allowing a serial killer to publish a book and make money is a mockery of justice."
