Dylan rap for charts.

BOB DYLAN gets the blues when he listens to modern-day music, it emerged yesterday.

The 60-year-old singer slated current sounds - but had praise for Eminem.

Dylan was speaking in a rare interview in the US as he releases his 43rd album, Love and Theft, and revealed that he is working on an autobiography, to be published next year.

He said: "The radio makes hideous sounds."

But of Eminem and other rappers, Dylan added: "I almost feel like if anything is controversial, the guy's got to be doing something right."

Of his musical talent, Dylan added: "I've a God-given sense of destiny."
