Darts Cup joy for Bucksford.

BUCKSFORD had a solid season in the M&B Nuneaton Friday Night Games League with the highlight being their triumph in the Tennents Darts Cup.

The Whittleford Roaders overcame the challenge of favourites and darts section champions Chapel End Libs to lift the trophy although in the Alan Reader Hemeling Cup they came close to completing a double but they were edged out by an inspired Bentley Road.

On the Individual front, Gary Baker took the 5s &3s honours and then partnered brother Ron to land the pairs while Steve Jayne took the Secretary's Award after playing 46 games at darts and dominoes and winning no fewer than 40. Bucksford trophy winners are seen here.
