Bob's pop blind spot.

Byline: HUGH DOUGHERTY

SINGING legend Bob Dylan has had a pop at modern music.

The 60-year-old rock-folk icon said: "The radio makes hideous sounds".

He said many singers after him wrote their own songs. But he added: "I don't feel they were ever my peers. Their songs don't have any resonance."

Eminem and other rappers had some merit he said. "I almost feel like if anything is controversial, the guy's got to be doing something right."

He admitted getting into rows with his teenage daughter over her tastes.
