All part of the same country.
I WOULD like to reply to comments made in the Daily Post (August 30). I am British, born in England and I thought Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland were one country, Britain.I did not choose where I was born but, surely, I can choose where I live without being discriminated against.
Do the Welsh not go to England both to live and work? I have had Welsh neighbours for more than 20 years, they are the same as us, not another race.
We are as passionate about Wales as anyone born there. We have been going to Wales for day trips and holidays with our family for about 30 years, and three years ago we bought a caravan in Wales, and now come most weekends and holidays, even in winter, visiting all your beautiful scenery, mountains and beaches, walking and trying to integrate, even making a stab at speaking the Welsh language.
They say the English rape every country they go in. Why, then, does everyone want to come to England from every country in the world? I see we are also getting blamed for foot-and-mouth when even the scientists do not know how it is spread.
The comments made by the few against England are racism against your own race.
