'Water' men rob OAP, 72.

A 72-YEAR-OLD man was robbed of cash by two men claiming they had been sent to fix a water leak at his Bedworth home.

The pensioner had returned to his house in Smorrall Lane at around 4pm on Saturday to discover he had left his door open and the two men were inside. He challenged them and they claimed they were there to fix a water leak.

The thieves were white men, aged around 30, and were wearing dark clothing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Bedworth CID on 024 766 43111.
