I'll have to ask my 89 year old father what chickens don't eat. He raised chickens in the back yard as a boy (for food - shhh, don't tell the girls) and I've heard all kinds of chicken stories over the years.

I am going to run out and try banana with my chickies. They are a bit pickier than yours but usually, once they try something, they like it. They ignored watermelon for days until finally one of the boys got brave. Then they all would eat it like crazy chicks.
Sorry, that you are still having legal issues. The cities of Chattanooga and Nashville, Tennessee are trying to totally outlaw any chickens within city limits. With our economy going south so fast, they really ought to do things that help people feed themselves. Just outlaw roosters for gosh sakes and limit the number of hens you can have at once. I am so blessed to live in a rural community that honors its agricultural roots.

Great show Karen! I can't wait to send a link to my friend. He loves the Chicken Dance. I think I tweeted it last week and posted it on Pinterest. Crazy fun.
alison
OMG...could barely focus on the chickens because I was so distracted by your fabulous ring!!! Wow!
anna
thaaaat was awesome. episode two!
Lisa
I watched this video with an idiotic grin on my face. I'm not sure why, but this made me very happy.

The Chickies are Gorgeous. Karen, you are very entertaining except when folding sheets. (I have one set of sheets for each bed, never fold any) And who cares about that anyway?
I also feed "my" squirrels on a nail in a board, actually never occurred to me they might put their eyes out!
Did y'all look at the "Mod Cloth" ad? They have really nifty stuff but it all reminds me of my favorite now defunct blog "Stuff White People Like". I especially like the Hose Water bottle.

I tried this with my chickens....and they didn't like it....your city folk chick's have a more refine taste I see....LOL
AmieM
I love this.
Maybe I should start experimenting with my cat, she will eat almost anything!
Debbie from Illinois
Now I want a banana!
Anne
Cool! So, do the eggs taste like bananas?
Regina
of course first thing that caught my eyes was your FABULOUS ring! where'd you get it? Plus I love the the background music. Who is it? Name of song/album? your girls are awesome.
Karen
Regina - The ring I found a local store on sale. $10 or so. So, not something I could lead you to in order to buy it. Sorry. The song is from the iMovie jingles library so I have NO idea who it is, but I love it too. Great song. ~ karen
Krista
thanks for the laugh, I grew up with 5 little cornish game hens that were quite a riot, wish I could have chickens here
Emily
but, does it make the eggs taste any different? banana flavored eggs?
Karen
Emily - Hah! No. However you can't give your chickens onion or you WILL get onion flavoured eggs. ~ karen
michelle
lovely work by everyone!
i have to know if cheeze whiz is still giving you blue/green eggs???
~m
Karen
Michelle - Oh yes! Once a chicken starts giving you eggs, you get the same colour for the rest of its life. The hue may change a bit, but if you get green eggs, you get green eggs. ~ karen!

Right at the bottom of your post is an ad for things you must never eat if you want to lose belly fat. Wanna guess what one thing is? Yep, bananas! Your hens must not worry much about their figures. Or are you fattening them up for an upcoming post on how to help your hens lose belly fat? Chickens on a treadmill with little sweat bands and water bottles. That would be funny to see!
Holly
Once again.....PICKLES!!!!
Becky
So funny, I knew they would eat it, as I have chickens myself and they eat everything! They are so much fun to watch.
