2024年J1リーグの話の続きもあるんですけど・・・
クリスマスも終わって年末から年始モードになってしまいましたが、知らない人のためにこちらもエントリーしたかったので・・・
今さらですが、2024年12月9日に発表された【billboard】スタッフが選ぶ【The 100 Best Christmas Songs of All Time】、お気に入りの曲が何位にランクインされているか確認する際にページスクロールするのが苦痛だったので、タイトル通り【結果だけ知りたいためだけの人のために・・・】表にしました(笑)

こうやって100曲並ぶと知らない曲もあるんですけど、知ってる曲の多さに驚きます。
知っているイコール年齢も重ねてるってことでもあるので複雑ですね。
ランキングに関してですが、古いものでは1944年の【Judy Garland】の【Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas】なんてものもあったりして、とてもバランスも良くて、【billboard】のスタッフは流石ですね。
あらためてランクインした曲すべて聴いてみたくなりました。

あとはおまけの個人的な感想。
1位は【Mariah Carey】ってのは個人的には・・・ですけど、納得するしかないです。
【Wham!】の4位は嬉しくもあり残念でもあり、ベスト3には入って欲しかったですね、両曲ともこれから年月を重ねるごとにランキングも下がっていくんでしょうけど、あと四半世紀はトップ10にはいるような気がします。
個人的には【Wham!】の【Last Christmas】はこれから生まれてくる人達にも聴かれ続けていかれて欲しいですね。
さて、当ブログでも取り上げている【BAND AID】は30位、クリスマスソングというくくりにはなりますけど、他のクリスマスソングとは趣向が違うので仕方ないっすね。
これまで当ブログで取り上げたことのなかった楽曲として、やっぱクリスマスだなって個人的に感じる曲をちょっとピックアップ。
※ランクインしている曲について1/3くらいは語れるんですけど、書く方も読む方も疲れると思うんで3曲だけちょっとコメントします。
まずは21位にランクインした【John Lennon & Yoko Ono With the Harlem Community Choir】の【Happy Xmas (War Is Over)】
これも定番でクリスマスらしい美しいメロディラインと【John Lennon】の声がたまりません。そして自分が書くと格安ですけどLove＆Peaceです。
そして個人的には暖かい部屋の中で家族と過ごすクリスマス映像が浮かんできてたまらなく暖かい気持ちになるのが27位にランクインした【Paul McCartney】の【Wonderful Christmastime】
動画はHappy Christmas＆もちろんWonderful Christmastimeだし、メロディも【Paul McCartney】の歌声も、そしてシンセサイザーの使い方が絶妙で機械的な音がそう聴こえないところなんてのがたまらなく好きです。
ランクインしてませんけど、聴いて欲しい曲があります。
1984年に【Bryan Adams】が大ブレイクした年にファンクラブ限定で発表後、1985年に日本限定でシングルとしてリリースされた【Bryan Adams】の【Christmas Time】。
ゆえに日本以外ではアルバムを含めてもリリースされてなく、今回のランキングの対象にならない知る人ぞ知るクリスマスソング、2022年に公式チャンネルにて動画配信されてます。
前述の通りの経緯なので発表当時にPVなど作成するわけもなく、2022年に配信された動画は最近の【Bryan Adams】が出演しています。
昔と変わらない歌声にジーンとくるんで聴いてみてください。
