Hailing from Tupelo, Mississippi, US, Rae Sremmurd are a sibling hip-hop duo, featuring the two brothers Slim Jimmi (born December 29th, 1993) and Swae Lee (born june 7th, 1995).
With their youthful exuberance fueling their hip-hop party anthems, Rae Sremmurd quickly made a name for themselves in 2013, after being featured on producer Mike WILL Made It's mixtape, "Mike WILL Been Trill," with the track "We." The energy displayed made the track a popular hit, helping to establish the duo's name. Prior to being known as Rae Sremmurd, the brothers were part of the trio, Dem Outta St8 Boyz, who uploaded several tracks on the internet, gaining the attention of P-Nasty.
Soon after receiving praise from P-Nasty, they travelled to Atlanta to record with him, with the result being two tracks, "I Dip" and an early version of "We." After the success of their appearance on Mike WILL's mixtape, they re-recorded the track, choosing a more aggressive, rowdy affair that still maintained its care-free party vibes that made it previously so appealing. The result was "No Flex Zone," which built a lot of attention in the media, bolstered by an official remix by Nicki Minaj and Pusha T. The track became a hit, riding high up the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 36 after its release in May 2014.
A second single soon followed in September that year, "No Type," which brought the duo further success, reaching number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100. Now hotly anticipated, their debut full-length, "SremmLife," was released in January 2015. The album was hugely successful, peaking at number five in the Billboard 200, as well as breaking the Top 40 in Canada and Denmark.

The young duo are likely to become a well known name on the circuit following the commercial success of their debut album as well as having scored an early hit single in the form of 'No Flex Zone'.
They have amassed a great following which simply adds to the growing reputation as they had been performing for many years under the stage name Dem Outta St8 Boyz and this gained them a cult-like following. Now the shows are made up of a combination of fans who discovered their music through chart sales and those who have followed from the beginning. Either way, the fans are equally enthusiastic as the duo practically bound out onto stage and greet the fans. They run through a slick set featuring a lot of the material from the debut as well as favourite 'No Flex Zone' played surprisingly early. With their abilities, energy and passion it is likely we will be seeing far more of Rae Sremmurd for years to come.
Rather annoyed as, for the Manchester concert. We had two supporting acts, which nobody really knew of, so therefore reduced the quality of the evening. Out of the 4 hours there, Rae sremmurd was on for less than an hour. However the thing I'm most annoyed at is that at the Amsterdam concert. They had drake as a special guest. DRAKE. And we had impact and Bobo something another who know ones knows. I feel like this is unfair and I should revive two free drake tickets to make up for this. Thankyou.
The guys were great and they did a great show I loved them! They animated the people in there and they know how to entertain. The only problem was that it was a small place and the people wanted to get to the front so they started to push and pull. But anyways it was great. Another thing to add is that they only play for 1 hour and a DJ plays music an entire hour before they come to stage.
Good atmosphere. I liked the begging when he cut the pineapple and threw it into the crowd... very unique. What I didn't like was the first couple of rapers in the begging. No one knew their music and although they had good energy, it just wasn't that great
Best concert I've ever been to, Rae Seemmurd, belly, 6lack, the weeknd and then drake showed up, energy was absolutely amazing and everyone was pumped. Songkick did a great job of hooking me up with the tickets!
The convert was litty litty!!!! Thanks Rae Sremmurda for the pineapple. I was that girl who stood on the chair to catch that. Next time you guys come to Chicago I will definitely be there again
Good wishes. I got to meet Rae Sremmurd but too late for me to get the meet & Greet wishes they had the tickets longer for me to purchased them. Overall best performance ever & enjoyed myself!
SO AMAZING swae lee came up to us in the crowd and danced w us and took a photo. the energy was awesome they got the crowd so pumped gambino was amazing too definitely a very memorable show
Amazing show !!! Everything was extra, how they know to be lit with the crowd, real showmens except they didn't play all their songs it's ok but maybe 3 or 4 more songs it will be perfect
They got it hype as expected. It wasn't too bad. Their only on their 2nd album so they did alot 10 songs then they was out. But that's how it usually is at the rave.
