Holy Hour of Lent (1)

Celebrant: In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

All. Amen.

Celebrant: The Lord be with you.

All: And with your Spirit.

Monitor: Responding to the call invitation of John the Baptist to conversion, we

we place ourselves before the presence of Jesus Eucharist and let us ask Him to begin this
Lent accepting this call.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament

The Most Holy Sacrament is reverently exposed.

Song (as in hymn)

Hymn

Oh sun of salvation, Oh Jesus Christ,

it illuminates the deepest parts of souls,
As the night recedes
And the day rises over the world.

Along with this favorable weather

give us rivers of copious tears,
to wash the burning heart
In joyful charity, it is sacrificed.

The source that until yesterday poured out crimes

It must flow from today an eternal lament.
If with the staff of penance
the hardened chest is punished.

The day is approaching, your day,

the universe will bloom again:
let us share their joy, those of us who were
wrapped in his loving hand.

Oh clement Trinidad, that they adore

Earth and sky at your kneeling feet,
And that we, by your grace,
let us sing in your honor a new song. Amen.
SENTENCE

Celebrant: I believe in you, Lord, but help me to believe firmly; I hope in you, but
help me wait without distrust, I love you, Lord, but help me show you that
I love you, I am sorry, but help me not to offend you again.

LITURGY OF THE WORD

From the Prophet Joel (2:12-18)

This is what the Lord says: It is still time. Turn back to me with all your heart, with fasting,
with tears and weeping; let them grieve in their hearts and not in their garments. Let them return to the Lord, God.
our, because he is compassionate and merciful, slow to anger, rich in mercy, and
he is moved by misfortune. Perhaps he will regret. He will feel compassion for us and us
leave a blessing, that makes the offerings and libations to the Lord possible. Strike the
trumpet in Zion, proclaim a fast, call for an assembly, gather the people,
sanctify the meeting, gather the elders, call the children, even the ones from
chest. Let the married man leave his bedroom and the married woman her marriage bed. Between the vestibule and
let the priests, ministers of the Lord, weep at the altar, saying: Forgive, Lord, forgive
your town. Do not give your inheritance to the mockery of the nations. Let them not say the
pagans: where is the God of Israel? And the Lord was filled with zeal for his land and had
mercy for his people. Word of God.

All: We praise you, Lord.

Reflection. Personal meditation.

THE WORD BECOMES SENTENCE

Celebrant: Let us give thanks to God, our Father, who gave us His only Son.
Who died for us, so that we may live according to His commandments.

Grant us to hear your word more frequently in this time

Lenten, so that in the great solemnity that is approaching we may unite more
fervor for Christ, our Passover. Let us pray

All: Let the Word of Christ dwell in us with all its richness.

Monitor: May your Holy Spirit assist us, so that we may be witnesses of your truth and of
your kindness towards the hesitant and mistaken. Let us pray.

All: Let the word of Christ dwell in us with all its richness.

Monitor: Father, you who love all men, help us cooperate for the progress of
the human community and that in everything we seek your Kingdom with our efforts.
Let's pray.

All: Let the word of Christ dwell in us richly.

Monitor: Forgive us, Lord, all our sins and guide our lives along the path
of simplicity and holiness. Let us pray.
Let the word of Christ dwell in us with all its riches.

Celebrant. Lord, may the healthy practices of Lent prepare the...

hearts of your children, so that they may celebrate the Paschal mystery worthily and extend
everywhere the announcement of your salvation. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

MEDITATION(Silence)

VOICE OF JESUS

My friends: Here is the Heart that loves you beyond the downfalls of
Bethlehem and Nazareth. Beyond the crucifixion of the body and soul of Calvary. This is the
heart that has loved them to the extreme limit, to the sublime madness that I
he is chained forever in the dungeon of Calvary; here, in the Host, I exhausted my
inexhaustible charity.

Come closer, you who are sad, the disillusioned, those wounded in your own home, the
hard hit by injustice, those torn apart by death or misfortune. Come closer
you, the disinherited of happiness, those who drag a soul in tatters, those who
they have tasted the chalice of all duels.

Everyone come, come and see that the torrent of their misfortunes is nothing but a
a tear, just one, from the ocean that his God has poured into this dungeon.

Here I forget, as the most disloyal of friends never forgot.

I am your God. And you, a sinful creature; I stayed forever for you in the
Eucharist.

From this Tabernacle, I behold the immense caravan, the thousands of redeemed with
my blood.

Song (as in hymn)

Celebrant: We all say the prayer for vocations.

We ask you, Lord, to continue blessing

And enriching your Church
With the gifts of your vocations.
We ask that there be many
May they hear your voice and continue to bring joy to the Church
With generosity and faithfulness
From their answers. Amen.

Celebrant: Let's end our meeting with the Lord, with the words that He
Our Father taught us...

BLESSING WITH THE HOLY SACRAMENT AND FAREWELL
