The Tale of Two Squirrels
One sunny morning, two squirrels, Chippy and Coco, were playing in the forest. They loved chasing each
other around tall trees and leaping over fallen logs. Chippy was faster, but Coco was clever. She always found
the best hiding spots and tricked Chippy into looking the other way.
That day, they found a small stream with sparkling water. "Let's race across the stepping stones!" suggested
Chippy. Coco agreed but was careful to jump slowly. "Chippy, wait! The stones are slippery!" she warned.
But Chippy was already halfway across when he slipped and fell into the water with a splash.
Coco rushed to help. She reached out a long stick and pulled Chippy to safety. "Thank you, Coco," said
Chippy, shivering. "I should have listened to you." They both laughed, sitting under a big tree to dry off.
Coco told him, "It’s not always about being the fastest; sometimes, you need to be careful too."

And golden when autumn winds blow.
In winter, it stands so bare,
Yet children still gather and play there.
