    1. Tell us about yourself?

    First of all I’m very pleased to be here today. I want to take


    you and the company for the opportunity. My name is Gelesa A.
    Olano, a graduate of St. Vincent College of Business and
    Accountancy with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
    I am applying for the position of Accounting assistant. So I’m a
    fresh graduate seeking for a job that best fits my course that I took
    when I was in college. I’m very optimistic and very career-oriented.
    I wanted to succeed in life and make my family proud of what I
    may accomplished in the future.

    2. Why did you apply in our company?


    Actually, I love SM and I liked it when we go here and my
    sister treats me. Being able to work here excites me so when I saw
    your job posting I immediately sent resume to the email address
    that was mentioned in the photo. Also as a fresh graduate I wanted
    to deepen my understanding and enhance my knowledge and
    skills with regards to accounting. I believed that I will reach my full
    potential if I will be given the chance to work here.

    3. What are your strengths?


    I am a dedicated person who values work so much. I have
    this motivation in me to do better in different things. Also during my
    college since I entered college during pandemic we had to rely on
    online classes and that made me so hardworking enough to finish
    my studies on time.

    4. Do you have any weaknesses?


    Unfortunately I having trouble with time management. I was
    struggling before like I cant manage my time and allocate it
    properly. But I guess I’m getting better at it now since I’m entering
    adulthood and I have discipline myself more.

    5. Why do want to work here?


    Aside from its near my family, I know that the company itself
    is stable and is successful not only in this area but also around the
    country. As I was observing the employees when I was a customer
    here I think that there is a good work ethics, a good work and life
    balance and the employees are being treated nice and fair and
    that I wanted to be part too.
    6. Why should we hire you ?
    I admit that I don’t have prior experiences as other applicants
    may have. And I fully understood that my lack of experience may
    be a concern but I wanted to assure you that I’m very hardworking
    and a fast learner and I’m very eager in accepting new
    challenges. I am willing to be trained and working overtime won’t
    be a problem to me if it’s gonna improve my work experience. I am
    confident in myself that I will do good and I will strive to become
    worthy of being an employee here if I will be given the chance.

    7. What were your favorite subjects when you were in school?


    Our subjects are really hard and complicated but My favorite
    subject is probably RFBT, Regulatory Framework for Business
    Transactions. There’s this set of standards or best practices to
    comply by businesses or other entities to follow the guidelines and
    meet the regulatory requirements.

    8. Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?


    5 years from now I hope that I become the person that I
    desire when I was a kid. I want to see myself being satisfied that
    I’m currently good with the job that I’m having and Hopefully to I
    have earned the CPA title since that’s one of my goals in life.

    Personally I wanted to stay in a company for a long time since I’ve


    heard of the great benefits and perks of being one like I’ll be more
    stable and reliable. I’m planning to take review online but I’m not
    yet sure as of the moment. If ever I’ll become a CPA I’ll think it will
    add on my credentials and will make more worthy as an employee.
