Learning Outline
1. Teacher asks pupils to make a few sounds (waves, hooves pounding, a deep and loud

voice).
1. Bring in realia in a bag/box (seashell, egg shell, coconut, teacup, etc) The pupils touch
the object in the bag and guess what the object is. Repeat for all the other objects.
2. Reveal the objects in the bag/box. Pupils name the objects and talk about them.
Lesson Delivery
3. Recite the poem ‘Sounds Like Magic’ and pupils repeat with the correct intonation
and pronunciation.
4. Give Worksheet 1 to pupils. They match the pictures to the sounds. Check the answer
in group.
1. Give blank worksheet one stanza to each group. Pupils read and write the stanza in
their groups.
Post Lesson
2. Each group reads its stanza aloud with actions.
3. Have pupils recite their new stanza in front of the class.

words and pictures before listening. Pupils listen for the main idea and
check their answers in Activity 1.
3. Pupils listen to audio 1.4 to answer the questions. Pupils answer the
Lesson Delivery questions then listen again for detail to check their answers and write in
notebook.
4. Pupils read and discuss the questions in pairs. Teacher conducts class
feedback.
5. Elicit the Values from pupils and discuss this question with the class.

Post Lesson 6. Class discussion, ppls vote on the most popular job based on the 3 pictures.
