    ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT OF THE DISTRIBUTION OF SCHOOL


    UNIFORM, SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND OO BREAD FROM LGU
    CASIGURAN
    Education is a primarily valuable human asset. Education entails learning new things and
    expanding one’s knowledge base. It is the most important aspect of one’s life that allows them to
    overcome the major difficulties. According to Helen Ketler, “Alone we can do so little but
    together we can do much.” This quotation creates a significant part of the LGU Casiguran in
    supporting every pupil, students, and learners of Casiguran district in fulfilling a productive
    education through distributing learners’ uniform and school supplies from kindergarten to senior
    high school. This project serves as a great opportunity for those learners who can’t provide its
    own educational needs. Aside from this, “OO bread” is another project of Casiguran where every
    school will receive number of breads that feeds the learners hunger. This project is a major steps
    of valuing education, its open opportunities to every learner to circumvent any obstacle in
    achieving one’s dreams.

    On September 15, 2023, Casay Elementary School received school supplies and uniform
    for 228 learners. Each learners received 1 colored uniform accordingly to their grade level and
    they also received an enveloped containing 4-5 pieces of notebook and a pair of paper and pen.
    Primary grades also received pencils and crayons needed to their everyday classroom activities.
    The distribution of materials happened inside every classroom that day. On November 13, 2023,
    Mayor Maria Minez Hamor distributed once again another set of school supplies for the learners
    of Casay ES which is a backpack for 228 learners and umbrella for female learners and a cap for
    male. This distribution surprised the Casay ES pupils and teachers, it happens on the covered
    court of the school with the lead of beloved mayor, learners received the materials with full of
    joy and thanks. Furthermore, learners that are equipped with those basic materials have a higher
    opportunity of developing self-confidence, self-worth, and pride, which in turn a very productive
    result in better performance.

    The Casiguran district find the key of helping schools to break down the number of
    malnourished learners. Through the “Oo Bread Project” of Casiguran the assurance of decreasing
    the numbers is on the hand. An empty stomach makes a child learn difficult, they can’t catch-up
    on every learning activities. Therefore, the LGU Casiguran develop this project, a great help for
    a teacher like us seeing our learners actively participating in the class without worrying that they
    are enduring the hunger. The distribution of bread in this school year 2023-2024 happened last
    month and it is continuing in the present. Last Wednesday, February 21, 2023, the learners
    received the bread equally, this serves as their morning snacks or afternoon snacks. It was a big
    help for us having this kind of help from the LGU of Casiguran and for the endless support given
    by the mayor of Casiguran. This support aids the needs of learners in coping difficulties in
    achieving dreams.
