Materials: four plastic transparent cups, oil, salt,

water, leaves, gravel, coins, and paper
Procedures:
1. Half-fill the first and second cups with tap water.
2. Put a teaspoon of salt in the first cup, stir
thoroughly, and label it as “Mixture A”.
3. Put oil in the second cup, stir thoroughly, and
label it as “Mixture B”.
4. Put together leaves and gravel in the third cup,
cover it with a lid, and shake. Label it as “Mixture
C”.
5. Put together coins and paper in the fourth cup,
cover it with a lid, and shake. Label it as “Mixture
D”.
6. Leave the set-ups for a minute and let learners
observe its comparison.
7. Fill in the table below.
