A. Course Design

Course Title: Japanese Language and Culture I


Nominal Duration: 360 hours
Qualification Level: NTR
Course Description: The course is designed to equip the students/trainees
with knowledge and competencies to communicate in
simple and appropriate Japanese language. It includes
reading, writing, listening, speaking words and
expression used in Japan. The course also familiarize
trainees themselves on Japanese Culture and Tradition.

Trainee Entry This section specifies the qualifications of trainees


Requirements: including their education / experience. To qualify as
trainees or students for Japanese Language and
Culture I. The candidates must meet the following
requirements:
 At least High School Graduate/ Vocational/
College Graduate
 Can read and write English/Tagalog
 At least 18 years old

Additional Requirements:
1. High School/ College Diploma or Form 137
or Transcript of Records
3. PSA Birth Certificate
4. Picture (1x1 & passport size) white
background 2 copies
5. Marriage Certificate (Married Women)

 TESDA National Certificate
 Trainer’s Methodology Certificate 1
 Certificate of any Japanese Language Certification.
 College level/College Graduate.
 JLPT/JFT at least N4 Passer
