Record the test on a chart for 15 minutes with all stand pipe valves in the same test.
10. Function test COM & floor saver every day & mark in the drilling report.
11. Mud pumps to have the correct liners installed & correct relief pressures in the pop
off safety valves.
12. Pre-pare 37 joints of 13-3/8” casing. Clean, Strap and drift all.
13. Pre-pare 10 joints of Coated 13-3/8” casing. Clean, Strap and drift all.
14. Pre-pare all BHA, measure, and strap & clean all items.
15. Mud cleaner to be run and discharge flushing line to be set up & running.
16. Monitor Water bit as per mud engineer instructions. Mud engineer & derrick man
to monitor this. Water wells 96 & 100. Diversion valves have to be checked.
17. Have the 13-3/8” landing joint ready.
18. Make up the 16” BHA as per the attached Pick-Up 16’’ GT65s PDC – S/N: 13655154,
Bit is in the steel bit container with 9X12/32 jets.
19. Gate guard must be set up and manned, all other access to be blocked off. No entry
to the back of the location also from behind the camp.
20. Totco ring must be installed for GYRO in case we drop gyro. GYRO will be run
during nipple up of the 13-5/8” BOP.
21. 13-5/8” BOP’s to be stump tested 21000 kpa before they are nipple up on the
well head.
22. Mix. H/V sweep using Brazan-D and sweep as per DSV instructions.

23. All mud tank valves to be hydro tested & mud engineer to accept the valves.
24. Circulation test with bit in the well conductor on spud mud to test the circulating
system at 1 m3/min rate for 5 minutes. (3 cellar pumps must be and tested).
25. Conduct H2S, Fire & evacuation drills before spudding.
26. Hold Pre spud meeting.
27. Rig accepted. Rig must be 100 % rigged up before rig acceptance.
28. NOV & Pason to be up and running at all times, as PDO watch the NOV live.
29. M/U BHA as per updated BHA.
 16 ‘’ Bit (Float VLV)
 15 7/8" NBS
 2x 8 1/4" DC
 15 7/8" IBS
 4 x 8 1/4" DC
 X-Over (6 5/8” Reg P x 4 ½” IF B)
 6 x 6 1/2" DC
 16 x 5" HWDP
 5" DP to surface

 Properly clean threads with wash gun.

 Apply extra dope on pin and shoulder to reduce over torqued
connections.
 Set torque limit to 13500 on TDS and 11000 on auto driller.
 Parameters to be changed based on vibration not to drill with high
vibrations use same range of parameters below .
 3 Floor hands to be on Rig floor while M/U BHA.
 2 R/A to be at shaker due to high volume of cuttings.
 High pressure gun and to be ready at Shaker to handle cuttings.
 In case of Vibrations, Change drilling parameters

30. Make up and stand enough 5” drill pipe in the derrick to get to 495 meters TD.
31. Spud well & drill from Surface to 45 m: 1 to 1.5 M3/m, 40 to 50 RPM, and 4 to 10
WOB as BHA dictates. (At spud only have 4 klb available). Below is the
recommended bit parameters for drilling the 16” section. Most important thing is to
start pump slowly, not to induce losses near to the surface.
32. 45m to 100 m: 1.7 to 2.7 M3/m, 50 to 80 RPM. WOB: 8- 12 KLB DSV & RM will
monitor drilling parameters
33. 100m to +/-495 m: 2.7 to 3.5 M3/min, 80 to 120 RPM, WOB: 8 - 14 KLB DSV &
RM will monitor drilling parameters. Parameters to be changed based on vibration
not to drill with hi vibartions.
34. Sweep hole with 3 m3 Hi-Vis sweep As per DSV instructions.
35. Drillers to do a DSL (Drilling Speed Log) to pick the top of the Damam. Top of
Damam at approximately 473 meters MD. DSV to advise final section TD.
36. At +/-495 m agreed by DSV & Geologist TD. Circulate the hole clean & check the
losses rate (Static & Dynamic). Pump a 2x 4 m3 Hives sweep & circulate the hole
clean with 4m3/min.
37. Pump & spot a 5 m3 Hives pill on bottom in the annulus.

38. Reduce connection time and never leave pipe stationary more than connection
time.
39. Record P/U and S/D wt. each connection and report to DSV periodically.
40. Trip sheet to be used on all trips.
41. Full parameters sheet to be reported (one reading each connection).
Example, WOB- Flow rate- Torque- String RPM - SPP & ROP. If O/P During
connection report to DSV.
42. POOH to surface. If over pull exceeds 7, inform DSV.
43. And if O/P reaches 14 ton, Back ream while circulating at 3.0 m3/min. Work pipe
up and down until free.
44. POOH to surface, L/D 8 ¼” DC, R/B 6 ½’’ DC for Next section.
45. Rack the rest of the drill string in the derrick.
46. Drain & Cut the conductor at the bottom of the cellar and lay down the conductor.
Note: Wear all PPE at all times, Follow JSA’s for operations & utilize the PTW for all jobs, Isolations &
confined spaces. TRIC cards & Hazard Observation cards to be used every day by all personnel. The 9
Halliburton life rules & 12 PDO life rules to be followed at all times.
