Every Child Is Special Summary
Every Child Is Special Summary
A gifted boy named Ishaan, who is eight years old and has learning impairments, is portrayed in the
movie "Every Child is Special" as being lazy and useless by his family, particularly his father, and by
his teachers. He struggles to keep up with the educational expectations of the school. Even reading is
challenging for him because he sees the letters moving and dancing as he attempts to read. Along with
writing incorrectly, he occasionally inverts his letters and figures. Therefore, he is at risk of repeating
his grade level, and because of all that, his parents made the decision to transfer him to a different
school that they hope will help him because of his academic challenges. Knowing that his family was
abandoning him made Ishaan utterly miserable. Ram Shankar Nikumbh, a brand-new art instructor
who challenges conventional teaching methods, appeared out of nowhere and lighted his pupils'
spirits on fire, urging them to be creative and imaginative. He observed Ishaan's challenges. He finally
learned that Ishaan has dyslexia, a disease that causes difficulties in learning to read or decipher
words, letters, and other symbols but does not impede overall intelligence. This situation explains
why Ishaan makes the mistakes that he does. Nikumbh thought back on his history because he was
experiencing the same issue as Ishaan had, and after considering the possibilities, he chose to assist
the child. Nikumbh discovered Ishaan's artistic talent while watching him. He saw the youngster's
talent. Nikumbh went to see Ishaan's family and explained the issue with the child and why is he
different. His parents felt guilty for not seeing their son's potential. Nikumbh assisted the child in
learning to read and write correctly. Together, they developed a strong bond.
In order to demonstrate to the school that Ishaan is not who they appear to think he is, Nikumbh went
to the principal with the idea of holding a painting event. During the event, Ishaan competes against
other artists from his school, including his mentor, Nikmubh. When the judges had to make their
choice as to who captured their hearts and eyes. He and his teacher Nikumbh are tied, but only one
should win. And Ishaan himself qualifies as that someone. He succeeded in winning over his own
mentor, which pleased and delighted him, Nikumbh, and his family. Ishaan's success helped him
discover who he was, making him a better person in his family, community, and school. His
personality successfully developed, his grades improved, and he became a more intelligent and
contented child. Children, according to the film, are like stars on Earth because each one is unique and
precious. Regardless of their issues, children with dyslexia and other children should be educated
together. The teachers who are in charge of these kids should be patient with them and not
concentrate on their words until they can read and write normally as other kids do. They should also
substitute oral exams for written ones and come up with creative new teaching strategies, exactly like
Ishaan's role model Nikumbh did.
