Students will write a 120-word paragraph in English describing Family Day in Vietnam and present it orally in class. They will be evaluated on their use of present tenses, clear pronunciation, vocabulary about family life, and fluency and grammar in both their writing and speaking. Rubrics are provided to assess students on content, organization, grammar, vocabulary and mechanics for writing as well as fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar for speaking.

English
- Use present simple and present continuous correctly in their
writing
- Describe the Family Day using clear pronunciation and correct
intonation in the oral presentation
