Homeroom PTA Meeting
NARRATIVE REPORT

Date: August 26, 2022


Venue: RNHS – Senior High Building
Expected number of participants: 60
Actual number of participants: 49
Facilitator: JEFFREY A. PACAYRA

The HPTA of Grade 11 GAS Aluminum was facilitated by Mr. Jeffrey A. Pacayra, one
of the senior high school teachers. This particular activity aims to; demonstrate understanding of
the roles and responsibilities of parents and learning facilitators in blended learning which aims
to; help parents address future challenges in guiding their children for independent study at home
and in face to face classes; and cultivate commitment and support for continuous basic education
delivery amid disruption. To trickle down the needs of the learners. The session commenced with
a prayer and other introductory routine. The facilitator started with a quick checking of
attendance of participants then introduced himself. The first agenda discussed is about Health
Protocols, the RNHS intensified the implementation of health protocols. Parents were informed
that their learners should abide by the health regulations. Learners with symptoms will be
excused in class if traced with symptoms. The school will administer antigen test for the learners
who will go to school and suspected with symptoms. The facilitator also explicated the various
task of blended learning as learning modality of RNHS. There is also an alternate schedule for
face to face class and modular distance learning. The facilitator emphasized the rules of the
school which the learners must abide.
The school will be providing ID for all learners for free on the first issuance of it but in case of
negligence of the learner, damaged, or missing the parents will shoulder the expenses on next
issuance of it. School uniform concerns also raised by the parents and discussed the advantages
of wearing school uniform for learners. Facilitator also introduced the Alternative Learning
System for Senior High School learners, this new program of RNHS will cater eligible learners
based on the stipulated requirements. Parents also elected their HPTA Officers for the SY 2022-
2023.
The meeting concluded with expressing of the adviser’s gratitude to the attendees and
short prayer at exactly 9:30am
