Actual Demonstration of Table Napkin Folds
During the Demonstration of table napkin fold I feel nervous, when do this
because within 2 minutes you need to finished the 10 any table napkin fold. I feel
bad, only 8 table napkin that I made within 2 minutes because, I’m nervous and
also panic. But, still I’m thankful and proud of myself even when I’m pressure
because, I’ll do the task. I made the 8 table napkin fold this are French, Pyramid,
Cone, Envelope, Diamond Arrow, Candle, Bird of Paradise and Bishop’s Hat
napkin fold .
The French Napkin Fold
Probably the simplest & quickest of all the folds. A
good napkin fold to have in your arsenal if you are
either cooking French food or catering for French
guests.
The Pyramid Napkin Fold
This classy napkin folding technique is simple,
fast, and can be made easily with most napkins. If
the napkin being used is thin and flops easily then
iron it with light starch prior to folding and it will
turn out perfectly!
The Cone Napkin Fold
This nice napkin design originated from the
napkin-worshiping indians native to Guam called
the dirty-wipey-nappies…or not. An iron will be
helpful.
The Envelope Napkin Fold
The
envelope napkin fold is very classic yet extremely
quick to fold. This fold works well with all of
our cotton and linen dinner napkins. For best
folding results, it may help to first iron the napkins
thoroughly with starch to ensure a more rigid
napkin.
The Diamond Arrow Napkin Fold
The diamond arrow is one of the faster folds to
make and does not require a rigid napkin. If you
are in a crunch for time or are using old soft
napkins, the diamond arrow fold is the one you
want. This fold works well with several of
our cotton and linen dinner napkins.
The Candle Napkin Fold
The candle fold is one of my favourites and really
looks fabulous on a table! Do not fret if you find
your napkins are not very symmetrical when
folding, mine are not… but it works out just
fine! Linen napkins are best, but you could use
thick paper napkins instead!
The Bird of Paradise Napkin Fold
This is a classic and classy napkin folding
technique that requires a stiff napkin. If you
don’t have any dinner napkins made of stiff
linen then a light starching should fix you
right up.
The Bishop’S Hat Napkin Fold
This is a classic dinner napkin fold, but it can
be difficult to line up the corners in the cap.
Some starch and an iron make it easier to be
precise while folding this one….and yes I know
it’s not sitting in the center of the plate, next
time I’ll stay out of the cooking wine, I
promise.
