    REALIZATION, INSIGHT AND LEARNINGS
    What are your expectations to the CWTS Course?
    Student’s Answer:

    CWTS, or Civic Welfare Training Service, is a component of the NSTP, or National Service Training Program,
    whose primary goal is to contribute to the community's or country's overall well-being. My previous
    course, NSTP, taught me about my role as a youth and opened my eyes to the various situations that many
    people in the community have faced. I learned about my role as a citizen in our country and what I can do
    to help the community in small ways through that course. However, my expectations for the CWTS course
    are quite different because I believe that this course will truly assist us in engaging in the various situations
    that our community faces. CWTS brings this idea to light and reminds us that our job is to serve the world
    rather than just pass tests. Connectivity describes society as a group of people with whom you can
    communicate while being in the same place.

    My expectation for this Civic Welfare Training Service course is that we will participate in a variety of
    activities that will enable us to become more knowledgeable about various situations and develop
    solutions for the betterment of the community. I'm hoping that by taking this course, we'll learn about
    different ways to help, especially since we're still in the midst of a pandemic. The CWTS at Mapua
    University stays true to the nature of the course, which is why I thought it was appropriate to take this
    route. Expectations will naturally arise as I embark on this path, as I am very excited about the things I will
    learn here. To be more specific, I anticipate that the CWTS course will first increase my awareness of
    issues arising in the Philippines, particularly those common problems that we are unaware of. From then
    on, this course would be useful in assisting me in generating ideas for how to address these issues, as
    these issues obstruct our path to our various visions of the country's success.

    Youth, according to a famous person, has the ability to bring things together while also changing their
    direction. These individuals must band together in order to bring about the change that everyone desires.
    I, for one, could make a difference in this world, regardless of my age, and it starts with CWTS. I think this
    course can help me to be a better person and to give me knowledge that I can apply in the real-world
    situations. I also expect my teacher to give me the opportunity to learn and understand the concepts in
    this course in a way that I can understand, as well as provide adequate feedback on my abilities, so that I
    can apply what I've learned and achieve my goal. Service learning may appear to be simple on the surface,
    but it is based on a complex philosophy. This combination of these two words would be extremely useful.
    You must have dealt with a dilemma before to be able to deal with it effectively. Gaining new skills is
    impossible without putting them into practice. We need to pass on what we've learned in school to those
    who will benefit from it.
