Heat transfer is everywhere and being aware of it will make you more knowledgeable of the best
thing you should do when you encounter conduction, convection and radiation in your everyday
life.

Students will accomplish this at home.

1. Research on whether convection applies to an air-conditioned room. Share your findings in the next
meeting.
2. Analyze why handles of frying pans are covered with plastic or rubber.
Explain your conclusions to your classmate. ( You may ask your parents about this )
