    It is School Vacation Time


    Vacations are time that people are waiting for. It is a time that people can relax,
    having days of and much more after doing some work on normal days. People can do a
    vacation with their friends, families or by themselves. Talk about vacation, school vacation is
    a time that almost Indonesian people take a vacation. School vacation usually occurs on June
    when students move to the next grade or graduate. The best place to visit while in vacation is
    Surabaya city. Surabaya located on East Java and it is the capital of the province. You can
    start any kind of vacation like road trip or a staycation in Surabaya with destination place like
    history, open space and mall place.
    History destinations on Surabaya have so much value and they are silent witnesses of
    colonisation that happen in Surabaya. You can start with the museums, Surabaya has so many
    museums. The Sepuluh November Museum is the museum that built for remembering the
    battle of Surabaya on 10 November 1945 and it also has a Heroes Monument. Next is
    Hoofdbureau Van Politie te Soerabia. This is museum of police in Surabaya. This museum
    contains a history of police, their clothes, their organisation, their equipment, and their story
    before and after the independence. Most of those museums located at Central-North
    Surabaya. Those places can be access by a road trip from stayed place by a motorcycle, a car
    and the Surabaya’s Bus.
    Open space places in Surabaya often used as relaxation with their friends and families
    like picnic, do a sport thing, and etc. Open space in Surabaya described as a place that has a
    wide area, like a park and a beach. Surabaya city has a lot of parks, one of them that the most
    popular park is Taman Bungkul. Taman Bungkul is a park located at Central Surabaya. That
    park has a jogging track, BMX track, a food court that serves traditional foods, and a car
    freedays on Sunday. The second one is Kenjeran Beach. It is located at East Java. The most
    people do at this beach is to watching sunset and enjoying some meals. Those places can
    access by a regular vehicle and Kenjeran beach can be used as staycation on the hotel near
    the beach.
    Finally, the mall places. Surabaya is the second biggest city in Indonesia. It builds its
    own economy centre and makes its own metropolitan area. There are so many modern places
    such as mall, hotel, community lot, and etc. For mall, Tunjungan Plaza or TP is one of a
    modern place in Surabaya. It is the second biggest mall in Indonesia. It is located at Central
    Surabaya. It is one of the most popular malls in Surabaya. TP is modern place for historical
    shopping place called Toko Nam. TP has many factory outlets and department stores inside
    it. From clothing to stationery, TP has it all. People also can staycation in TP, because TP has
    four residences on it.
    People can learn from vacation based on the place their visited. They can learn about
    history from museum and historical place. They also can see or meet the key holder of the
    place they visited before. From open space places, people can refresh their mind, by looking
    wide and beautiful scenery, go jogging, doing a picnic, have a group chat and much more.
    For a mall, people also can refresh their mind by looking all stuffs on the sale, finding new
    item, eating, etc. Vacation can be done without planning the activity, the equipment, and the
    destination. To helps the planning well, we can search about the destination that will be
    visited, the travel agency and the place to stay, so vacation can be done smoothly and as
    expected.
