We praise God for the rare opportunity to work with Boys and Girls Brigade from Bukit
Batok Secondary School in coordination with Impact Life Team Singapore.
The following are the highlights of the event and accomplishments as well:
Welcome Program on the 1st day of event at Marasbaras National High School, Tacloban City
(Marie, Hazel, Tim, and Gideon) from left to right
Students from Bukit Batok Secondary School, Singapore sorting out books for the MNHS Library
The Cabinets/Book Shelves donated by Boys/Girls Brigade from Bukit Batok Secondary School
Painting the ceilings of 3 classrooms at MNHS was tiring yet fun according to one of the Boys
Brigade member
Young as they are yet very focused in finishing the painting of 3 classrooms. They did not
only paint the ceiling of this classroom but included the walls as well.
These Boys Brigade members were very excited to distribute trash bins to 22 classrooms in
MNHS.
After two and a half days of hard labor, the Singaporeans shared some fun time with local
students through “Sipak Takraw” game – a traditional game in the Philippines.
Singaporeans spent some time playing and getting to know some students during the last day
of their stay in MNHS
Mr. Gideon Ren a Teacher from Bukit Batok Secondary School, Singapore received a
certificate and a token of appreciation from the school Principal of MNHS.

Boys/Girls Brigade and Staff from Singapore exchange appreciations to one another
