    Narrative Report on the Orientation of Modular Distance Learning Policy

    Connecting home and school makes us great community of learners.Parent


    involvement is the foundation for student success. It boosts childrens ability and
    achievement. The more involved parents are in their childs’ education,the more
    ability the child is to succeed in school.

    In our present New Normal situation, parents’ orientation differs from the
    past years. Coordination to parents done through varied online platforms because
    face to face is prohibited.

    In line with the Deped Policy, orientation with Grade One parents about
    Modular Distance Learning was conducted last Friday-August 14,2020.The
    adviser, Mrs. Ma. Lorna D. Guerra conciliated the parents through online call,
    chat, messenger and text messages. The teacher informed them about class
    schedule, ,the systematic way of accepting and retrieving the modules through the
    use of Learner’s Packet Control Card ,the essential role of parents in guiding and
    using modules and some requirements to be accomplished before the opening of
    classes on October 5,2020.

    Modern technology serves a counterpart tool in communicating parents


    because 100% participation /responses of parents was successfully attained.
