The document discusses the differences between being a boss and being a leader. At first, the author thought being a boss was better because of their higher position and ability to command others. However, after watching a video, the author learned that effective leaders motivate, inspire, and empower others through certain traits, rather than ruling through fear like bosses. The author concluded that being a leader is better than being a boss because leaders admit mistakes, give advice, earn respect through kindness, while bosses criticize, demand respect, and rule through threats.

As I watched the video about Boss vs.
Leader it helps me to understand more the difference of being a
boss and a leader. Well, actually from my own understanding I thought that being a boss is great than being a leader because a boss is in the higher position in terms of position in work and in commanding. But then as I continue watch the video I learned and found out that being a leader is great than being a boss. I learned that to be an effective leader there are certain traits and characteristics to standout. It enlighten me that truly effective leader not only motivate and influence also inspire and empower that is why the main work of a leader is to spread hope not fear own respect and followers. Although the term leader and boss are often used interchangeably in popular culture there is in fact a world of difference between the two. I determined that leaders, inspire, support, nurture and empower their teams. Whereas bosses rule with authority, fear, manipulation, insecurity and stress. Therefore I conclude being a leader is great than a boss because leader admit his own mistakes, show how to do things, give advice, give direction, earn deserve respect and a leader shows human kindness. While a boss criticizes, talk fast and give orders, demand respect, roles with threats and law.
