Course Unit : 2 units
Course Description : This course deals with a comprehensive lifestyle approach is designed to provide the cognitive and behavioural skills
students need to adopt a healthy lifestyle. These skills are based on personal needs, and will promote a lifetime of health,
fitness, and wellness. And this course designed to provide the students with information to become a good problem
solver/decision maker and will teach the student to make informed choices about his or lifestyle.

Prerequisites : None
Contact Hours : 36 hours
Placement : First Year, First Semester
Course Intended Learning Outcome : At the end of the course, the students shall be able to

I. Cognitive Objectives :
1. Identify and analyse the different physical activities;
2. Identify areas of strength and weaknesses through well selected activities;
3. Explain how to maintain/ improve upon personal fitness level through the administration of the physical
fitness Test.
II. Affective Objectives:
1. Acquire the lifetime value of maintaining Physical Fitness and Health;
2. Acquire wholesome and proper attitude towards physical activities;
3. Stimulate interest and enjoyment of the physical activities; and
4. Develop one’s talent and knowledge through active participation.
III. Psychomotor Objectives:
1. Enumerate and perform accurately the different self-testing activities;
2. Demonstrate and explain key components of a thorough warm-up and cool-down, aerobic dancing properly;
and
3. Adapt proper self-discipline and teamwork in performing the different activities; and
4. Show politeness, courtesy, attentiveness, cleanliness and orderliness.
