MNHS Wins 2017 Band Competition

The Maramba National High School band was proclaimed champion in the 2017 barangay fiesta band competition. Their flawless execution of baton twirling, well-arranged music, and choreographed performance impressed the judges. According to their supervisor, the band members' hard work and repeated practice paid off as their sweat was repaid with happiness upon winning. Other participating schools included Don Manuel Andaya National High School in second place and Pioduran National High School in third, who also won best costume.

MNHS hailed champion in Band Competition 2017

The students of Maramba National High School were shouting at the top of their lungs as they
proclaimed Champion in the Band Competition last December 11, 2017 as part of the barangay fiesta
activity that was held at Maramba Covered Court. The MNHS Band Members impressed the board of
judges with their flawless execution of batoons, the well-arranged dynamic of sound, and the
choreography, owed the spectators.

According to Mr. Kim Jordan Reyes who supervised the MNHS Band “ The perfusing sweat of the
members were reciprocated with happiness and the patience were put into challenge as the students
had to repeat the routine many times just to achieved mastery were replaced with closeness were those
of the few things that he had observed after the announcement”. He added” that the willingness and
eagerness of the members to win served as the driving motivation for them to give their greatest
performance.

The competition were participated by the different schools from different municipalities. Don Manuel
Andaya National High School landed in the Second Place,the Pioduran National High School ended in
Third Place and awarded as best in costume, while the Republic Colleges Flores Institute got the Fourth
Place .Another special award was given to Camille Radan of MNHS for being the Best leader.
