The Big Wind Blows
SET INDUCTION :
1 Student revise previous lesson by singing and reading jazz chants
from previous topic.
2 Q&A session to revise previous lesson.
MAIN ACTIVITIES :
1 Teacher explain about the topic.
2 Teacher guide student on playing The Big Wind Blows. Each
student were given a word/picture card of words taken from the
topic. Each student gets a piece of card with a different word.
3 Teacher check students understanding by calling out the words and
students with the said word have to stand up quickly.
ACTIVITIES 4 Several chairs were arrange facing inwards. There should be 1 chair
for every player minus one.One person stands in the centre of the
circle, with everyone seated.
5 Teacher will call out the word,student who have the word must
stand up and change seats.While doing so, the person in the
middle will try to steal the seat.
6 For each statement, no student is allowed to sit in the same seat.
Student in the middle can also be the caller instead of the teacher.

2. Student were given a 3x3 grid to play BINGO. Teacher will say
aloud the words of the day. Students listen and write each word
down in any of the grid at random.
3. Students are not allowed to look at each others paper.
4. When everyone is done, teacher says aloud a word and students
ACTIVITIES have to cross the word out.
5. The first student/group to get a vertical/horizontal/diagonal line
completed is the winner.

2. Students were put in team and sits together. Each group will be
given 10 objects/words/picture cards and each group must have
the same things.
3. Teacher will says all the word for items in front of the students. The
students will listen but musnt touch the objects.
ACTIVITIES 4. Finally, teacher will say, Put the item in front of you in the correct
order. Each team must arrange the items in order according to
what the teacher had said to them. They could write it down during
the teacher says the order so they wont forget.

2. Teacher prepared a writen question with the picture of the face of a
dice with a certain number to each of the questions. This activity is
called Dice Challenge.
3. Each team/pair must take turn to throw the dice and ask the
question. The rest of the group members/pair must answer the
ACTIVITIES question asked.
4. Repeat the order untill all questions being asked and answered.

as the writer while the rest of the group member stray around the
classroom to search for words or sentences pasted by the teacher.
3. The members who have read the words/sentence, must return to
the writer and tell the writer what the word/sentence is.
