Publishing
The publishing programme at Royal Collection Trust aims to create the highest-quality books, exhibition catalogues, guides and children's books to celebrate the royal residences and the works of art found within them.
Our list includes beautifully produced printed books, apps and online catalogues and symposia. We also publish scholarly catalogues raisonnés, which demonstrate the highest standards of academic research.
Our accolades include winner of the multi-authored book prize awarded by the Historians of British Art for 2020 for Windsor Castle: A Thousand Years of a Royal Palace, winner of the 2019 Leonardo da Vinci International Award for Leonardo da Vinci: A Closer Look, the MGA Book of the Year Award for The Queen's Diamonds, the Design and Production Award, Best Use of Cross Media for our publication Leonardo da Vinci: Anatomist, produced alongside the iPad app, Leonardo da Vinci: Anatomy, which also won a Webby and a Lovie Award.
The stunning catalogue, Leonardo da Vinci: The Mechanics of Man, also received the Design and Production Award in the exhibition catalogue category, while the monumental three-volume French Porcelain in the Collection of Her Majesty The Queen was given Apollo magazine’s Book of the Year Award.
