I absolutely cannot believe it has been a whole year since we moved into our 'fixer upper'. I also cannot believe it has been almost a year since I have shared anything here on R&R at home. A lot has happened in the past year; getting pregnant with our rainbow baby, a pandemic, quarantine, a new baby... the list goes on. This year's theme has seemed to be all about survival and staying sane which has meant putting R&R on the back burner to take some stress off my plate. 

If you didn't already know.... we MOVED! I had good intentions of a giving a full house tour post before jumping into any DIY posts but after moving in to our new-to-us house there was a space that needed a makeover STAT. I realized pretty quickly that our new house was lacking a drop zone for bags and coats, etc. So I quickly got to work.

Welcome to REVEAL week for the $100 Room Challenge! I am so excited to share our powder room with you! The before and after of this room is seriously unbelievable!

Y'all- I have been BUSY! This past weekend was insane. We had a baby shower, a first birthday party and somehow I managed to paint our powder room, the vanity AND try my hand at custom hand painted accent wall! Phew. I'm tired.

You all know how I get on kicks. A few years ago I was on a sharpie kick- literally finding anything and everything I could makeover with a sharpie. Then, I was painting everything Revere Pewter. Well, now I'm making everything look like wood!

Have you ever started a DIY project that you were sure was going to end up in the trash it pile? That was me last week when I set out to up-cycle the ceiling fan in our guest bedroom. I am happy to report that I completely surprised myself and that what I expected to be an epic fail was an epic success!
