Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix is a return to Fortnite Chapter 2. The month-long season starts all the way back in the bygone era of 2019 and Chapter 2 Season 1.

This season’s weekly updates will take a tour through Chapter 2, with the hotfixes each week unvaulting new (old) weapons and vehicles from the past, along with new remixes themed to four musicians — Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and Juice WRLD.

Let’s talk about everything new (and everything old that’s new again) in Fortnite Remix’s first week and beyond. And for look at the timeline, see our guide on the Fortnite Remix schedule.

The Fortnite map has reverted to the Chapter 2 map, and that means the return of POIs like:

  • Holly Hedges
  • Slurpy Swamp
  • Steamy Stacks
  • Weeping Woods

For the “remix” part of the Chapter 2 throwback, the Agency in the center of the map has become The Doggpound, where you can find Snoop Dogg as a boss. You’ll also find TNTina and Meowdas in the northeast at The Yacht and the southwest at The Rig, respectively.

Before you explore the full map, see our guide to all gnome locations.

It’s also not just the island that’s getting the nostalgia treatment in Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix. Old weapons are being unvaulted for the return to Chapter 2, including:

  • Dual Pistols
  • Tactical Shotgun
  • Pump Shotgun
  • Rapid Fire SMG
  • Suppressed SMG
  • Suppressed Assault Rifle
  • Heavy Sniper Rifle
  • Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle
  • Hunting Rifle
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Grenade Launcher
  • Remote Explosives
  • Grenades
  • Clingers
  • Stink Bomb
  • Mythic Goldfish
  • Bandage Bazooka
  • Boogie Bomb (that plays Snoop’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot”)

Some of the unvaulted items will only be available for a week, others will be around for longer — up to the entire length of the season.

Vehicles are getting the same remix treatment, with a couple coming out of the vault, and a new 1966 Cadillac DeVille (in honor of Tha Doggfather himself).

The first vehicle out of the vault is Motorboats, with Choppas coming later in the season.

It’s not clear if more vehicles will be added weekly like they were in Fortnite OG, or if Motorboats and Choppas are all we get.
