It might surprise you to know that choosing Olin involved flipping a coin between my top choices, but and let me tell you, I couldn't be happier with my decision. My experiences here have been nothing short of the silly, amazing, random, serendipitous journey that I hoped to have when I went to college.

Meet the Members of Olin's Society of Women Engineers (SWE!)

Here at Olin, we have clubs as far as the eye can see! Everything ranging from our incredibly popular Olin Fire Arts Club (their performances are FIRE, check them out at their YouTube Channel) to our Rocketry project team that competes nationally. One important organization on campus is our active and inclusive Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Chapter. SWE provides Olin students- (of all genders)- who are interested in promoting women in engineering, with professional development opportunities and mentorship.

When I first looked at Olin, from an outsider’s perspective on my college visits, I missed many of the hidden gems you discover once you become an Oliner.

From creating robotic fish with the ability to autonomously swim across the ocean to designing satellites for launch into orbit, Olin College of Engineering offers students a wide range of research projects, from paid investigations to those for college credit, or simply to explore a concept in a field of interest.
