Call for Abstracts Now Open
The National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) invites abstract submissions of original research in the field of vaccinology. Abstracts are peer-reviewed for quality of research, educational, and scientific content. Accepted abstracts will be scheduled as either poster or oral presentations. Notifications will be sent in March 2025.
The Maurice R. Hilleman Early-Stage Career Investigator Award recognizes individuals in the early stages of their career in any field of vaccinology. The awardee will be recognized during the 2025 conference. To apply for award consideration, applicants must submit an abstract under the “Poster Abstract Only-Hilleman Award” submission type.
Submission Deadline: February 12, 2025
Please note that the NFID does not provide travel assistance, stipends, or reimbursements for individuals with accepted abstracts. All expenses related to travel, lodging, and participation in the conference are the responsibility of the individual.

The Annual Conference on Vaccinology Research brings together the diverse disciplines involved in vaccine research, development, implementation, and real-world evaluation. By drawing upon an international audience of scientists and researchers, healthcare professionals, manufacturers, and public health officials, the conference is designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas across a broad range of disciplines, addressing challenges and breakthroughs in vaccinology.
