Michael B. Titowsky, Esq. is a highly experienced attorney who has represented thousands of clients in court litigation and private mediation throughout the New York Metropolitan area for more than 40 years. Throughout his career, as an attorney in private practice and as a Hearing Officer for NAM, Mr. Titowsky has successfully resolved personal injury cases, some of which resulted in catastrophic injury, including labor law, slip and fall, premises liability, automobile accidents.

Prior to joining NAM, Mr. Titowsky was a partner in a prominent New York law firm. During his 29-year tenure with the firm, he litigated a variety of personal injury related matters, such as high exposure NY labor law, premises liability, motor vehicle, general liability, insurance coverage/ indemnity, and medical malpractice cases from inception to trial and appeals.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Titowsky has focused on the representation of his firm’s clients in both private and court-ordered mediations. He has also served as a court appointed mediator for personal injury and labor law cases in the New York State Supreme Court. A strong advocate of Alternative Dispute Resolution, his years of mediation experience have enhanced his understanding and sensitivity to the physical and emotional hardships that present themselves in personal injury cases. Mr. Titowsky possesses an exceptional ability to communicate and connect with all parties to resolve the case in a cost effective and satisfactory manner. He is well known and respected in the legal community for his integrity, legal acumen, and reputation for being fair-minded and

Mr. Titowsky has lectured at bar associations and professional organizations on topics such as labor law, contractual indemnity, insurance coverage, premises liability, and bad faith claims. He has also written several legal articles which have been published in various journals and legal publications, including The Torts Insurance and Compensation Journal of the New York State Bar. In 2024, Mr. Titowsky was ranked a Top Ten Mediator by the New York Law Journal “Best Of” survey.
