Product details

Curtains with heading tape allow you to hang the curtain directly on the curtain rod using the rod pocket or tabs. You can also hinge the curtain onto a track rail using gliders and hooks.

Using gliders and hooks usually creates a more formal and dressed-up feel, where hardware is not visible.

Luxurious thick velvet that falls elegantly and captures the light, adding depth and richness to the colour. The dense weave dampens sound, softens light from outside and is also resistant to pilling.

The room darkening fabric lets in a small amount of light and there is no glare on TV/screens. It gives a strong sense of privacy as shapes and light are barely perceived from the outside.

The 250 cm length is ideal if you want to hang the curtain above the window for a casual look.

Choose from different lengths and colours to adapt to different window sizes and to create a coordinated look throughout your home.

    The curtains are sold in pairs. The sizes stated refer to each single curtain. For the total width, double the width of a single curtain.

    Since the fabric will shrink when washing it is a good idea to wash the curtains prior to cutting/hemming.

    Use SY iron-on hemming strip to shorten the curtains without sewing.

    Velvet can be prone to marks/creases. To remove them, iron the fabric with steam on the reverse side, then gently brush the pile where the mark/crease is to lift it.

    15 gliders and hooks are usually recommended for each curtain with a width of 140 cm. You can increase or decrease the number depending on whether you want narrower or fuller folds in the pleats.

Beautiful, great quality with a good weight. EveIf you're looking for something to add contemporary / classic elegance to a room, with bonus heat saving practicality. My dining room is transformed! I'm ordering more for my kitchen/family room which has wall to wall south-facing windows to keep summer heat out. They do require some ironing to smooth out fold creases before hanging but it's worth the effort.5

Lots of imperfections in the fabric from the get-goSophieI bought these last week and just hung them up last night. Yes, they're wrinkled, but that's to be expected from the packaging. However, I was disappointed by a few other things. As other reviewers mentioned the fabric is very thin for velvet. I was hoping it would give my room a luxurious feel, but I'd say it fails in that regard. More importantly, I've noticed a number of imperfections in the fabric in the light of day. There is a small dark dot on the white curtains in more than one place, as though something leaked through when they were folded. There are also several snags in the fabric. Because of these imperfections, I'll need to exchange the product. I'm disappointed as I'd been looking forward to hanging them so much. 3
Good PurchaseRoseanneI purchased the Sanella velvet curtains in white. They are the perfect height and were easy to hang. A little steaming is needed, but they look fresh and transform my bedroom. I was going to purchase California blinds, but there is something soft and romantic about drapery. The white colour will transition well with different bedspreads for winter and summer. For the money, I am pleased with the purchase. Another reviewer said the velvet was thin. It's adequate for the price. I recommend this product. 5
DisappointedSusanI bought two sets of these curtains. I washed one set separately in cold water / gentle cycle & hung them to dry but one panel shrunk in length way more than the other panel. The 2nd pkg I opened was missing a tab on the top to hang them with, so I put it back in the package and was going to exchange but will now return after the other panels shrunk so noticeably different. Like the other review I agree that these curtains leave a lot of dust like particles! We have dark hardwood floors so it is very noticeable. Loved the idea of the velvet look curtain but these are on the thin side, still nice but have a cheap look to them.1
