Hardly a "duvet"EmilyHad this duvet insert delivered, so did not see it in person until it arrived. SO thin and looks and feels very cheap - the exterior is a strange mesh fabric, not what I expected based on the photo on the website and not what I would expect in a duvet. Not even sure it will "fill" the duvet cover we purchased to go with it. Would never have purchased had I seen/felt it first. Also, did not realize that although it is washable, it must be hung to dry. Very inconvenient. Unfortunately, I live too far away to return, so will likely give it away and purchase something of better quality1

Do not put in dryerIntaI put mine in the dryer on medium with the cotton sheets and duvet cover I purchased at the same time. It got very wrinkled in spots and the wrinkles stuck to each other. When I gently tried to pull the wrinkles apart, the fabric ripped in several places.
This duvet is not meant to go in the dryer. If you don’t have access to a clothesline, consider where and how you will dry this.
A written warning that this cannot go in the dryer would be helpful. The washing symbols don’t “speak” to me, especially if they’re not in colour.
The price was great and the workmanship and overall thickness seemed fine, but the covering fabric is too fragile, best suited only for a disposable item.
