Started to leakAnonymousWe’ve loved and used this mattress protector for about 3 years. However with recent frequent washing it is now leaking. When my son has an accident at night the mattress underneath is now wet too. I guess it can’t last indefinitely. I’m now going to buy full mattress protectors for him and some new Len crib protectors for the new baby. It was good quality while it lasted but not indestructible and impervious to wear over time.

Very Small mattress ciberAnonymous reviewerI bought this at the same time as foam mattress and crib. It is not worth it as it doesn't stay flat and doesn't cover the whole mattress (covers approx 3/5 of the surface). I would recommend buying a mattress protector that wraps around the mat, I found better ones at baby stores. This IKEA one now serves as a back up.

Not one leak through to the mattressAnonymousWe have used these mattress protectors for 2.5 years now in our toddler's crib. Not one leak through to the mattress in all of that time. Yes it is small for the crib but it is meant to not be anywhere under baby's head. Our only complaint is that I can't throw it in the dryer. Now that we are potty training I am having to wash them much more frequently and they take a while to drip dry.
Prevented all leaks from damaging the mattressAnonymousBought it for number 1, used as directed, under the fitted sheet, and it saved the mattress from all leaks and explosions! Minus one star for not being dryer-friendly unlike the other ikea mattress protectors. Although I’d put it in for a very short time in the lowest heat setting just to wring out the water a bit. Yes it doesn’t cover the entire mattress, but I’ve never had any problems of it moving around when used underneath the fitted sheet. Going to buy a second one as number 2 is coming soon and would be easier to have one to wash and one to use.
A must buy when using cloth diapers.AnonymousFirst off, this is NOT a mattress cover! This is smaller than a mat cover, please check dimensions :/ I use these under the baby so she won't wet our bed/sofa/crib. It's way easier to wash this than it is to wash the bed sheets and clean the mattress, because a baby will soak everything she sits on when using cloth diapers, especially at night. I really like these mat protectors, I bought a bunch and I've been using them everywhere, even in the stroller. For me they were a must, as we stopped using Pampers at about a month, and the cloth diapers are leaky. They only thing I had an issue with is the fact that we're not supposed to dry them in a dryer, though I have been doing that and it seems okay.

But what they forget or don't know is that you should NEVER place this protector under the baby's head b/c it is a non-breathable material! It should strictly be under the baby's body, below the head! Also, to prevent it from moving around, place it under the fitted sheet. It's simple as that. We think it's an excellent product, well worth it for the money!
Way too smallAnonymousI brought this mattress protection today to finally set up the crib. The protection is way too small and already started to bundle up when I lay my child in the crib. It is a bit annoying seeing two lines sticking out where you can tell the protection is too small. This is a awful hit and miss.
Not my favorite ikea buyBriannaI like the material it's made of, it's a nice quality, but it's slippery and not full mattress (crib) size so I find it slips around and bunches up so it doesn't protect the mattress from any wet messes at all which makes it kind of useless
LEN Mattress ProtectorElkeIt protects the mattress where it covers. The problem is that it doesn't cover nearly enough of the mattress. We have to use two of these to cover the mattress surface and realign then both daily.
Pretty Worthless!AnonymousBought it because I thought it was a mattress protector for a crib mattress. But it is way too small...< 2/3rds the size of the mattress. It just winds up getting pushed to one side or one end of the mattress. It would have been a good price if it was actually the right size but as it is, it is grossly overpriced
