niiiceCarothree months into living with this couch, and it's a perfect fit, comfortable and just firm enough. also, it was easy to assemble. I'm very happy with this choice so far.5
Great couch for price AshleyWashable covers are great! I wish it was just a little more dense and soft but overall it’s really good and I’m happy we bought it. 4
Ok for priceAlanaI bought this 3 seater kivik with the hillared anthracite cover about 2-2.5 years ago. I think the quality is ok for the price but the one thing that drives me crazy is the back support pillows sliding down behind the seat cushions when I lean against them. I also wish the back support pillows were firmer, as they are starting to become softer than I would like. I recommend reading the assembly instructions before you purchase - you do have to build the whole base and attach the covers, so just be aware it’s a bit of a project.4
I wouldn’t buy it again JoshuaThe Kivik in the showroom is not the same one you’ll receive. Whatever I bought is very firm, not medium firm. Nothing like the comfortable sofa at the store. This thing is a rock.
The cushions make a crumpling sound and feeling when you sit on it. Cover arrived torn and a couple frayed spots.
There’s no way this is a practical washable cover. It’s not a slip cover like the UPPLAND. You have to remove the arms and undo so much Velcro, it would take forever. The covers barely fit the super firm cushions as
it is, any shrinking and you’d be hooped.
Pretty disappointed honestly. I bought the sofa and loveseat. I should’ve got something else. I did get a small credit for the torn seat cushion but there’s quite a bit of false advertising going on here. Maybe it has to do with the “new lower price”. Listen to the negative reviews because there are a lot of them and they are recent.

Not good for your backAnsarI have had this couch for more than a year and the backrest is constantly slouching, which means we have to keep adjusting it many times. Even then it does not keep its shape. My back hurts after sitting in the couch for more than a year. Very disappointed. 1
The price is right, the quality is surely not. ChrisThe couch is reasonably comfortable, especially for the price. The quality, however, is a real disappointment. The slip covers are borderline garbage, they're one (small) step above Metro/Dollarama reusable bags in terms of fabric quality. The old slipcovers were piped around the borders to ensure they last, these are heat pressed. The covers are like cheap fabric bags that companies ship electronics in. I am truly disappointed in how much of a downgrade this is from the prior KIVIK couches. Will not buy again. I would also add, if you have pets, especially cats, NONE of the IKEA fabrics will hold up, they are just too thin and poorly made. On top of that, the inability to flip the cushions makes this even harder to swallow. If this couch lasts a year, I will be genuinely surprised. IKEA may be cutting their prices, but the quality mirrors that. Terrible. 2
Our favorite sofa!KaterynaOur favorite sofa! It's a pity that this model doesn't have a sofa bed. I constantly look at other models and don’t like anything! We are waiting for the sofa bed option from Kivik!5
Just what I wanted! EstherIt's so comfy, and I love that I can remove and wash the lining (or replace it). I also love that the armrest is super wide and closer to the seat. 5
Comfortable couchSvitlanaIt's now 4 days to a month since we've been using it. Soft seat and backrest, nice fabric. It looks modern.5
Solid built couchLauraGood quality for the money. Using disposable gloves helped to put the cushions into the covers. Bought and installed legs as the couch was too low. Love the washable aspect of the covers. Looks very contemporary..4
Best sofaDikosavaWe have had Kivik sofas, love seats, and loungers since they first came on the market. This is the only sofa I will buy. The memory foam on the armrest was a game changer when Kivik first came on the market and I had to check it out. Since then, these have been part of our decor forever. This is the best nap sofa you will find, with upholstery soft enough to sleep on and lounge, but not too soft that you can't get up or be well supported. Washable covers are an IKEA standard and I love that. Seat depth is great and provides comfort for people of any size. The sofas have endured some heavy traffic over the years and always looked great. The only thing I wish would be for a 100% cotton cover for it. Please make a Blekinge white cover for Kivik! Otherwise, an amazing product!5
Looks great, very comfortable andLoriLooks great, very comfortable and no problems putting together with a video5
KIVIK SOFAKimFantastic choice! Firm and sturdy yet comfortable and the fabric is wonderful. It seems that pilling is big problem nowadays with furniture fabrics, but this couch definitely will not pill. That's a huge plus!5
Hard to assemble and theSumonaHard to assemble and the fixtures are not very strong and broke during assembly.3
Great sofaLoredanaI have had this sofa for 2 years now and I love it. It’s a nice modern design and has good support. It is still as firm as the day we purchased it. Holds up well. Hillared cover fits perfectly however the new anthracite cover is baggy (do not recommend). I would give this couch 5 stars if it came with better colours. All the colours are 2 tone which make the material look cheap.4

ComfortableAnonymousI bought the kivik 3 seater sofa at the end of 2021 for $649 before tax, brand new. Fast forward to early 2023, the only thing that seems ‘New’ now is the over 50% increase in price to $999 before tax. This is a really good and comfortable sofa, but the drastic price increase in such a short time period is astounding.4
Love it!BonnieThis sofa is great for a small place. I love the color, the material and how comfy it is. Highly recommend!5
