Kivik sofaTiVery disappointed in the product. Not what it used to be. I know this product well. Have attempted to return it three days after purchase, but four calls later IKEA has not been able to follow through at their end. An IKEA representative admitted that the product has changed to make it more affordable. That change being flimsy springs and rough leather. It’s a fine line IKEA is now walking. Materials can be cheapened to a point, and then it just becomes garbage. Not a good look on you IKEA. Unless that is what you are now going for now? My days of picking up furniture from you has ended with this couch fiasco. What a shame!1

10+ years and counting and STILL going strong!GailWe bought this sofa in dark brown leather back in 2013 and it is still in excellent condition and is as comfortable as when we first got it. We have consistantly used both leather conditioner and cleaner on it to keep it visually in good shape. The only minor quibble we have is with the plastic feet. Th plastic scratches wooden floors and if you attach protective pads to them, they end up slipping/sliding and coming off if you move the furniture enough during vacuuming. Other than that, highly recommended5
Flaw in LeatherJoyI have wanted this couch and ottoman for months but waited and waited for FREE delivery because I think a purchase of this amount should include free delivery.
I received both items on Friday but wasn't able to put them together until yesterday.
When putting the ottoman together I noticed a flaw in the leather in the middle of the top that I am extremely unhappy about.
I don't know that it will affect the wear and tear on this item but it is unsightly and should have not been sold as such. I expect better quality from IKEA and have been shopping with your company since my first bachelor apartment as a University graduate over 40 years ago, so yes, a loyal customer.
I am very disappointed and wish to be contacted about a solution to this error

Excellent SofaAllanI purchased two of these sofas 10 years ago and one additional one a few weeks ago. The leather is very high quality and durable. First set bought held up very well with kids. Super comfy to sit and sleep on with modem look. Only buying leather sofas from Ikea from now on.5
