Don’t buyShelleySofa covers look terrible now. The fabric is thin and cheap looking. They do not fit properly and are puckered everywhere. Completely disappointing. I returned the product and tried other colours. They all fit and looked the same way
Kivik loveseatPriyalI love it
Backrest Always look weirdTobiMaybe a different foam material should be used to give the backrest a more defined look but no matter how many times we adjust them, they always look funny. Not sure if buying a different cover will fix the problem. The couch is functional but the appearance doesn't improve the look of my living space.

terrible qualityJenthe worst couch cover. we have had 2 other kivik covers over the years that were great, but this new one is a massive step down in quality. the fabric is awful - not soft, almost scratchy. the fit is terrible - cushion covers are too big, look sloppy and slide around, and the quality is very poor - weird stitching, strings hanging out and a 2” spot on the arm seam that is a mess. very disappointed. they tried to put some anti-slip thing on the bottom of the seat cushions which doesnt work and means you can’t flip the cushions, the cover only works one way. will not be buying again and will be checking future purchases closely.
Product does not specify what size KivikMatthewI learned the hard way. Make sure you aware that throughout the years Ikea has had multiple different sizes of their Kivik sofa. Such as a 3 seat and 3.5 seat. This product listing gives no details about which Kivik sofa this cover is intended for.
Very poor quality material and stitching TeresaThe original cover to my sofa was white so I wanted to replace it with another colour. The material is low quality and the stitching is poor also. It is gathered on one of the arms and looks terrible. There are several threads sticking out from the seams. I would return it if we had an Ikea in my city but shipping it back will not be worth it. Have to take a loss.
Modern looking, but thinKevingFirst of all there was a big dead cockroach in my packaging. I've never encountered this before. The install was easy. Looks very modern with the light grey. It looks lighter than the picture. Fabric is quite thin compared to older covers. My short hair easily pierced through.
Hillared anthracite Bad for pet hairShauntelThe Hillared anthracite is horrible for pet hair! I hate this cover! Someone please tell me if you’ve found one of these covers that does not attract pet hair.
DOES'NT FIT OLD KIVIK SOFAMichelleI bought my kivik sofa in 2018. After a few months, I had decided that I didn't like the colour and planned to buy a new cover. However, due to the price, it had taken me a few years to be able to buy it. After finally being able to buy it, I was so excited to bring new life to my livingroom. However, when I tried to put it on my couch, I was so disappointed to realize that it was too small. After reading other people's experiences, I learned that Ikea has changed the dimensions of their original kivik sofa. They no longer sell covers for the 2018 model and they don't inform you in the description that they have changed the dimensions. I am so so disappointed.
Terrible quality for the priceJamieTerrible quality for the price already coming apart on seams right out of the package
easy way to get aAnastasiaeasy way to get a whole new look. i change my covers every 2 years to keep fresh and seasonal.
Too bigLoredanaI purchased the Hillared cover and it was perfect. Now I purchased the anthracite to change up the look and it is not as tight fitting. It is loose everywhere making it look sloppy and cheap.

Cheap CoversJackieWe have had our sofas for approximately 3 months and the cushion covers look like they are 3 years old! We have the light grey colour and the pilling/fuzz is awful. We had a different Ikea sofa in the past and that fabric was excellent. Expected better quality and wish I could attach a photo!
Not the samePoppyThis is my 5th Kivik sofa cover with no repeats. I fell in love with the turquoise colour and corduroy. It is much thinner than past covers and I expected that due to the price. What I didn't expect was the cushion covers to be only one sided. The back side is covered with a cheap, gray fabric. The fit was not ideal. Even with all of my experience, I really had to struggle to get it on. I would have returned it had it not been too much work to remove and recover. If it wasn't for the on sided cushions it would have been a four star product.
