This cover is made of Tonerud, a soft polyester fabric with a felt look and a two-toned melange effect.
The modules have a soft comfort with high-resilience foam and pocket springs that follow your body and provide support – whether you are sitting, lying down or hanging out on the sofa.
The deep and even seats make JÄTTEBO very comfortable to lie on when reading a good book or enjoying a nap.
In the generous storage space under the seat in the chaise longue and seat modules, you can store things like throws, games and boxes with small items.
Gas spring dampers ensure that the seat opens and closes softly and smoothly. It also automatically stays in the open position so you can easily pick out and put back what you store.
The modules look equally nice from all sides so you can place your sofa along the wall or in the middle of the room.
You can quickly and easily move your modules without tools. Just open the storage to remove the mounting brackets, rearrange the modules and then fix the brackets back in place.
JÄTTEBO modular sofa has a simple shape with clean lines and is soft, comfortable – and practical with storage under the seat.

According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 50,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.This seating furniture is tested and complies with relevant strength and durability standards. The tests simulate typical usage of the product and are based on use by persons weighing up to 110 kg.

It's a good couch, but for the price, IKEA could have done a lot betterJefferyOverall happy. Unique features and the fabric is super thick and durable, though the velcro placement could have been closer to the edge.
IKEA really could have improved this product in very inexpensive ways.
The bottom of the storage area is cheap flexible paper thin MDF or particleboard (not sure). It's the same stuff they put in the back of their closests and wardrobes. For this price, to use such cheap materials is insulting. The manual tells you to not step into the storage because it will shatter.
They also need to include more under-the-couch metal joints. There are two holes in each area where the couch can attach to another piece, but IKEA only includes one piece per item. If you get armrests, you're down to about 1 joint per piece which is not enough to hold the couch sturdy. These pieces probably cost under a dollar for IKEA to source. Simple changes would have made this an amazing buy.
