bedside lampLauriePurchased for my son's bedroom.
The installation instruction page was a bit complicated - It seems like a few extra components to this product were found to work well but perhaps unnecessary - 4
Great for cottageLeslieGreat product but didn’t come with the required light bulb4

Great light, easy to installJamieThe light is very nice, clean looking and is easy to put up on the wall. We have them on either side of our bed for reading. My only complaint is that Ikea could have dimmer bulbs for them - there really is only one option.5
Don’t forget the bulb like meCatherineThe bulb are a different type 💡5
The Hektar, wall mountable as well as clampstyle.CarlaThe Hektar was an excellent choice for a simple wall light to create an eclectic warmth. I chose a dark grey in rough matt finish and with its long cord to reach outlets.
I choose the wall mount for a totally different look to the clamp on also love the needed light bulb is located with these LPS to make the choice of light bulb easy.5
Exactly what I neededKathleenThis what my very dark bedroom needed. I have a beautiful wrought iron headboard that goes well with the two lamps mounted on the wall above.5
Love it!JillI have it mounted above my bed and it's perfect for reading!5
Amazing!DinaLove the light it gives off. Its industrial chic5

All Hektar lampsChanteThey are rusty in spots right out the package. (Floor lamp the whole bottom is rusted)
Clamp light's lightbulb max leaves them mostly useless for supplying actual light. They are gorgeous but mostly useless2
Perfect reading light for aboveRhondaPerfect reading light for above the bed.5
PerfectRuthThis lamp is the perfect fit to my bedroom. It fits easily onto my IKEA bed frame. I really like the look of this lamp.5
simple clean look for theTegansimple clean look for the most part.4
Looks great but two have brokenTinaThese look great but the price is a little too low as the two bought for my boys’ bunkbeds are both inoperable in two years. I don’t think it’s sustainable to toss lamps every two years. Quality really going downhill Ikea. $40 and holes in the wall is pretty expensive for garbage. Now I need to find them other lamps as I won’t buy these again.1
Perfect bedroom lightingColleenNeeded wall lamps to be placed above the headboard of our daughter’s bed. Perfect for accent lighting and reading in bed.5
Greeat little reading lampJonathanBought for child's room. A perfect little reading lamp - Light is not intense, nor does it illuminate the entire room. love how their are two options for securing it, either to the wall or on a shelf. Tried both, and both ways work well. Remember to also buy bulb!5
AnonymousI really like the look of the lamp but I would suggest providing wall screws with it4
Typical ikea installationAnonymousNo wall screws included. Unless need to bolt wall plate to the lamp. Could it not have come affixed or at minimum instead of the super small screws for which it was fortunate that I had a screwdriver small enough, larger screws. The nobbs that adjust the light direction could only be loosed with a wrench which damaged the paint. I bought this to replace my kramare lamp which was a much easier install by far and had given up the ghost after years of modest use. It is worth what I paid for it.3
Perfect as bedside lampsAnonymous reviewerWe were a bit nervous buying these in the As Is section. A salesperson helped us check them out, plugging them in and checking them for all their parts. They look great mounted on the wall on either side of our bed. The only downside is how right they are; we are still hunting for a light bulb to fit them that isn't quite so bright.5
