“We had a very outdated and environmentally unfriendly landscape around the 3acre site of our 1980s southwest run style berm home. Concrete with a very formal ugly brick pattern in front of our south-facing solar energy source, and asphalt paving (UGH!) everywhere else. It made the house hot in summer and ugly. The house also needed an entrance, as there was not an obvious one. Peter Chivers and his crew put together a plan with us to start to " remediate" the site. Peter's taste and ours I think really fit. He designed a fabulous new southwestern entry, even scrounged around and found a very cool old hand hewn beam for the header. There's more work to be done with plants and the landscape, and we'll be working with them again next year. You should know that Peter is a perfectionist and as with the really good people, sometimes things take longer than you think. We didn't push, but if we had I think it would probably be ready for pictures. We'll put some up as soon as we can!”

“We wanted the landscape for our new house to be water frugal and low maintenance but also lush and beautiful. Ivy Street Design proposed several alternatives and devised a plan that met our requirements. Wendy and her staff know what plants can thrive in Denver's climate and have extensive experience working with landscape contractors. They helped us select a contractor and oversaw the contractor's work. During the first summer, Wendy frequently checked the plants' growth. One year later, Wendy was back on the job to ensure the warranty work was done to replace plants that had failed. Overall, Ivy Street Design met the deadlines and budget and demonstrated a high level of expertise. The resulting landscape is unusual and beautiful. We enjoy it every day.”

“Creativity, reliability and quality workmanship - that's what Mile High Landscaping brought to my backyard project. Will and his team were able to completely transform our backyard landscape into a wonderful extension of our house. They designed and installed a flagstone patio, arbor, fire pit, water feature, and landscaping for my backyard. They were able to work within my budget and came up with creative, one of a kind features to suit our style. I found their pricing to be very competitive to other quotes and the crew was really efficient. The crew always worked from the time they arrived until the end of the day and were a pleasure to have around our home. The team consistently kept me informed as to schedule and next steps. “When we bought our house in Cherry Hills last year we knew that in addition to the work we needed to do on the inside, we also had A LOT of work to do on the outside. Dream Makers was wonderful...we met on site, they drafted plans and we, basically, re-did the entire yard. From the outdoor kitchen to the patio and fireplace and columns and lights at the end of the driveway, Dream Makers was a pleasure to work with. They drafted plans, changed plans in the field based on my requests, and the result was a yard, both front and back, that is an absolute dream!!”
