“We loved working with Killeen Studio Architects. We needed drawings to buid a laundry area in our 100-year-old St. Louis condo. The project included demolition of a closet that divided the condo’s large hall into two awkward spaces. Our new laundry is still under construction but we can already see it makes better use of the space. Mike Killeen and his team not only turned the drawings around fast, but also gave us advice, ideas and the names of trusted contractors. The whole experience was very professional, the drawings were exactly what we needed and the price was reasonable. We will certainly use Killeen Studio for our next project and I have no hesitation recommending them to others.”

“We are so happy with our experience! The architect and also the GC, Woody was so immersed, dedicated to our project- he guided us when decisions had to be made with excellent communications skills and also humor! It was exciting to see it all happen- and it was on time! We were living in the basement during the renovation and one night, it was storming, pouring rain- and this was before we had the roof completed, and he shows up in the middle of the night just to check on things to make sure water wasn't coming in! He was also very good at keeping us in-check with our budget. We are very happy with our new home!!”

“My wife and I hired Soloway Designs Inc to design and build our second home getaway. After a poor experience of doing this once before I vowed it would never happen again; especially from a long distance. On a cloudy Sunday afternoon with boredom setting in, we decided to go out and about and look at houses. By chance, we turned into a driveway that had a hidden treasure, for us, designed by Marc Soloway. Cutting to the chase, a short time later we had some meetings and decided to take the plunge....again. It was a super positive experience and lots of fun.The process or marriage lasted approximately 3 yrs and guess what;we still communicate with each other. They kept their promises,met deadlines,stayed within their forcasted budgets even though we didn't and had great attitude and most importantly always got back to us in a timely manner. We are simply awed time and time again by his almost instantaneous grasp of how to redesign a space in a matter of seconds into something even better than what we had envisioned. Simply put, architectual design is in Chris' DNA and it is reflected in the beauty and creativity of the homes and floor plan designs. “This team was contracted to do the architectural work on an addition to my home. I sketched out the overall design. Nong listened and offered his suggestions. At the conclusion, his overall design and improvements when far beyond what I had envisioned. He walk through all the paperwork and time needed to get all the permits which allowed me time to take care of the family and talk about the new look. The project is still under construction, but I know my family and I will be happy with what we both (myself and Nong) envisioned.”

“Where to begin! Melanie Hartwig-Davis is an extraordinary architect. She has worked on a number of projects for us, including our kitchen, family room/bathroom, and an extensive project where she completely transformed the outside of our house by adding lighted flagstone stairs, custom-designed wrought iron railings and an outdoor deck/entryway that provided us with much needed additional living space. The kitchen she designed for us completely exceeded our expectations. Melanie is one of those rare individuals who is able to think like an engineer and an artist at the same time. It seemed as if she immediately recognized what we needed to do with our space. This required creative interior design ideas to accommodate existing conditions. In addition to serving as our architect, she guided us in selecting colors, lighting, and stylistic features. We had a small space in which to work. She designed a kitchen that was functional, had ample cabinet and counter space, and was visually impressive. We could never have reached such a successful result without her input. One of the aspects we appreciate about Melanie is that she cares. She respects the integrity of the space, the style of the house, and the architecture of the neighborhood. She truly wants her projects to add to the livability of not only her clients but also the community. She is environmental in her choice of materials, and as a result, has impacted all of our additional household decisions. When it came time to replace the siding on our house, we went with a composite siding because we knew that is what she would recommend. We have since moved to a new house and invited Melanie over before our own family. We have a number of projects we hope to complete in the future and we would never use anyone else besides Melanie.”

“We used John Lum Architecture for the complete remodel of ~1000 sq ft in San Francisco. John and team were fantastic to work with. Very creative yet good at listening to our thoughts and integrating our ideas. They understand how to both design a gorgeous contemporary space while still keeping it comfortable and livable. We depended on them with a lot of design detail recommendations such as fixtures, paint, tiles and they always had great suggestions that made the process much simpler and easy to manage. They are very professional, extremely responsive and timely. There were no surprises during the entire process including on deadlines and budgets. I would strongly recommend them.”
