Commented: Black Stain for BambooHello, we did a few layers on this white oak floor. We did a heavy layer of black dye, followed by sealer, black gym floor paint, and three coats of polyurethane. Hope this helps!

Commented: What type of floors are these?This is a solid. Depending on your environment a high quality sawn top hickory would be an option. It looks the same.

Commented: what is on the other side of the stove?I'm not sure but I think a small book shelf went in there. We installed and finished before kitchen was installed.

Commented: Duct tape pulled up finish on new wood floors!If it can't be cleaned with paint thinner and it's not just sticky glue it will probably have to be resanded and restained. I doubt a 2nd coat will fix it.
