Mosby Building Arts
Design-Build Contractors & Firms in St. Louis
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsSeptember 14, 2012
My husband and I hired Mosby Building Arts to remodel our kitchen and to replace an existing deck with a three season room. I was dreading the thought of construction but the professionals at Mosby from the engineers, to the design crew to the craftsmen who worked on our project made the entire process flow so smoothly that before I knew it we had our marvelous living space redone and enjoying the fact that it was so much more functional than it had been before. Mosby took a great deal of time in the planning stages of our project, asking questions about what we liked about our living space and what things we wanted to change. With such great dialogue and attention to detail, we were able to create a kitchen, laundry room and three season room that is MUCH better suited to our work flow, entertainment habits, and daily needs than the original home layout. It could not have been a more pleasant experience. I would recommend Mosby to anyone who is looking to make their home a better place to live.
Bright-Mann Contracting Inc.
Design-Build Contractors & Firms in St. Louis
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsMarch 13, 2015
The project contracted for was a sizable patio with very few square corners or straight edges. We also opted for a stamped and died finish. The project was delayed a few days due to weather which is not under their control. Once the project started it was their priority till completed. We could not have been more pleased with the work. The quality of the job made it a great value and after almost a year it still looks as great as the day it was done. They have also kept in contact with us for future maintenance requirements for sealing the patio so that it continues to look great for years to come. I would recommend Bright-Mann Contracting,Inc to anyone needing work of this kind. The one thing that was very apparent to me was that Mathew loves his work and it shows through in the attitudes of everyone in his crew. My wife and I would have no problems should they wish to show our work to possible future customers wanting to view the work they have done. I would also be happy to submit photos to them for them to use should they want them.
Dana King Design Build Remodeling
Design-Build Contractors & Firms in St. Louis
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsFebruary 6, 2013
I enjoyed working with Dana as she helped reconfigure my space into something I had never even imagined a couple years ago. Her resources are professionals who do the job right AND are decently priced- hard to find these days. She has lots of great ideas, but as long as you tell her upfront what your budget is she will stay within your parameters. We are in the process of fixing up a house and have asked her to help with this project too. Already so excited!

Nistenhaus Design LLC
Design-Build Contractors & Firms in St. Louis
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsNovember 4, 2016
The Nistenhaus gentleman are outstanding. They are fun to do business with and have great style. No two projects look alike. They really listened to what we wanted and made our house look like it belonged in a magazine. It was still OUR style, which was amazing. They are also hardworking and efficient. The projects they completed with us were done in no time.
Agape Construction
Design-Build Contractors & Firms in St. Louis
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsFebruary 20, 2013
Agape was extremely professional and service oriented. They provided high quality work and finished the project at the deadline they projected. Every person we worked with was polite and skilled. Our screened porch exceeded our expectations. We had an issue with someone we hired separately to do our flooring (not recommended by Agape) and Agape stepped in when we had issues with them and completed loose ends when the flooring company refused to come back at no extra charge. I would highly recommend Agape and use them again for any future projects.
Heartlands Building Company
Design-Build Contractors & Firms in St. Louis
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsNovember 11, 2014
Heartlands installed a screen room on our covered back porch: They removed the supporting beams because they were not close enough to meet code, installed Geodeck composite decking, installed aluminum railing, floor to ceiling screens, two outdoor ceiling fans, and an outdoor tabletop propane heater. They also removed the old railings and a metal circular staircase that had been cut into the back porch by the previous owner. The whole project went beautifully. We had scheduled appointments for estimates with three different companies, and had already met with one before we talked with Larry Brost. The first company had given us a bid of almost $20,000 for just a screen room, which did not include replacing the supporting beams or existing floorboards. They were just going to lay plywood over the existing boards, which we would then have had to find some way to protect from the weather. They were also going to install only one ceiling fan on the porch. Larry gave us a bid for approximately half their price, but it included replacing the supporting beams, the existing floorboards with no-maintenance composite boards, two ceiling fans and a propane heater. We were impressed by his honesty, his knowledgeability, and his suggestions to keep the overall costs down. For example, we had been thinking about having a three season room instead of a screen room, but he advised that would cost a good deal more and we wouldn't get that much more use out of it as opposed to a screen room. After talking with him, my husband told me to cancel the third appointment, we had found the company to do the job. Larry kept us informed as to when his crews would be at our house, and they showed up promptly as promised. The only delays were due to things like weather which were beyond his control. The crews were polite, professional and cleaned up the work site at the end of each day. We love our new screen room. The fans make a HUGE difference when the weather is warmer. We haven't had a chance to use the heater yet since it hasn't been cold enough, but I was shown how to turn it works when they first brought it out and it is very simple to use and generates quite a bit of heat. I think we have used our back porch more in the past month than we have in the past five years combined, and we're already thinking that we should have the same thing done with our front porch. I highly recommend this company.

HomeMatters Design Build
Design-Build Contractors & Firms in St. Louis
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsDecember 13, 2016
We hired HomeMatters Alliance to renovate our kitchen. Very pleased with the final result. There were a few minor problems that the owner of the company came back over to fix himself. The cabinets were made in Missouri & quartz countertops were made in USA (which was a big deal for us). The quality of work done by the carpenters, electricians & tile setters was excellent. We have had many friends & neighbors comment on our beautiful kitchen & ask who did the job. We are happy to tell them "Kevin Franklin with HomeMatters Alliance".
